Soba was a breakfast staple when we went to Fukuoka. It was the only food that the kids ate without the usual morning fuss.

When we came back, any order of soba would be a winner for the kids.

Turns out, making this at home is the easiest thing in the world.

I just boil the soba, drain it and pour water. The instruction says ice cold water but since I dont have it, I just poured tap water.

I then let it stay in the fridge for a couple of minutes. When we’re ready to chow, just take it out of the fridge, pour soba sauce, give it a stir and enjoy!
