I haven’t been to a buffet for a long time. I guess as you get older you just tend to choose dining places where all you have to do is take your seat and be served.

A Β former subordinate and friend just got promoted and invited us for lunch at Spectrum, a restaurant at the Fairmont Hotel.

The regulard rate per person here is a bit m steep at more than PHP 2,000. Thankfully, all BPI credit holders get 50% off every Tuesday and THursday till end of year.

The restaurant opens at exactly 12 noon. We got there early so we had to loitter around for a bit.

The buffet reminds me a bit of Heat, where the choices not overwhelming but done really well.

There’s Arabian station serving tikka and kebab, chinese station with a giant steamed fish, pinoy station, italian station, japanese station, salad station, dessert station and our favorite, the carving station! The beef is really nice but where is the lamb???? 🐏🐏🐏🐏🐏🐏

I particularly liked the roast beef, steamed fish, shrimp, tikka, pizza, tuna sashimi and the raspberry sorbet πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹
