This is a good alternative for those who want to  spend a day away from the craziness of Manila.

It took us more than 2 hours from Makati on a Saturday to find this place which was perfect because we got there right about lunch.

There is a little bit of walking involved from the parking to the lake. School kids are there to walk with you to the place.

It’s per reservation only because they need  to prepare the food in advance. What they charge for the balsa ride and food is unbelievable considering how refreshing the place is, how delicious and fresh the food are. They only charge PHP 350, imagine! That’s even cheaper than what some cinemas charge 🤑🤑🤑

The kids had an impromptu swim session. We thought the balsa ride would be enough for them. But water and kids without swimming? What were we thinking 😂🏊🏻🚣🏻 Anyways, there’s life vest provided and the local balsa man will stay with you the while time so no worries. Just do note that their shower rooms are super basic. So dont expect tiled showers.

We hiked up to see Lake Yembo but for me Lake Pandin would have been more than enough.

Highly recommend this place 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
